The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.ABOUT THE ROLE:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UGP Manager to join our team at the Ferrero Plant in Arlon (Belgium), an international and inclusive environment where innovation meets tradition.With the dedicated support of approximately 1.200 workers, we take pride in producing a variety of products, including Kinder Schokobons, Raffaello, and Kinder Surprise.Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the UGP Manager will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our production processes, being the referring point for all the activities connected to the development, improvement, innovation of the product which falls under his/her supervision.This Role offers the opportunity to get valuable insights into our overall Operations organization and it is a solid springboard for further development within the Group.Join us in Arlon and be part of our dynamic team shaping the future of Ferrero. Supports the development of local procedures/ work instructionsCommunicates regularly on safety, including safety rules, work instructions and procedures, and learnings from incidents. Conducts safety inspections, dialogues and encourages the reporting of Near misses, Unsafe Acts - ConditionsSupports definition and ensures implementation of corrective actions for identified H&S non-conformities to avoid incidents in the workplaceEnsures management of incidents, including reporting requirements and participation in incident investigationsFOOD SAFETY & QUALITYEnsures the implementation of all actions aimed at guaranteeing the Food Safety & Quality of the products and the production processes for managed perimeter in accordance with Quality Procedures and GuidelinesSupports the implementation of new Group ProceduresEnsures cleaning, sanitization and housekeeping of the areas within his / her area of competence, verifying the observance of HACCP directivesCOSTEnsures the monitoring, reporting and optimization of the production factors utilization (material, method, labor force and machineries)Supports the understanding of the efficiency, monitoring and optimization of indirect costs and selected other costsDELIVERYSupports the medium-long term planning of the operating activities on the lines within his/ her area of competenceSupports the planning for maintenance overhaul activitiesSupports optimization activities to increase and stabilize production capacitySupports industrial tests (product, packaging, raw material, …)MOTIVATIONFosters the work force motivation through listening to work force needs, providing regular feedback and communicating the Group roadmapIs responsible for the people and organizational development and know how transfer/ handoverENVIRONMENTIs responsible that all environmental standards on the lines are respected ensuring ISEE policies communication through info, training on environmental issues in the workplaceCONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTSupports the Plant Manager in the definition of Plant Master Plan, identifying the key priorities and preparing a 3 years horizon Plan including CAPEX, KPIs & operational objectives within his/her area of competence.Drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives inside the UGP and ensures appropriate follow-up of the initiatives resultsSupports the development of Digital Program and projects in his/her area of competence, ensuring proper involvement and training of the workforce and tools application, being an effective operational change agentWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:ProfileBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related fieldAt least 7 years of professional experience in a managerial role in a manufacturing environmentExperience in FMGC industry represents a strong assetStrong credibility with regards to technology, product and shopfloor operationsStrong knowledge and experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologiesAble to lead change management programs in different multi-cultural environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlinesExperience with project management tools and softwareIt SkillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeLanguagesFluency in French and EnglishThe knowledge of any other language represents a strong assetHow to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
