The GOPA PACE’s teams are a group of highly driven professional dedicated to achieving the greatest impact through our projects across geographies.A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOUPurpose of the roleThe Manager is responsible for developing activities linking culture and an array of cross-sectoral within the EU co-funded project “European Heritage Label Bureau (EHL Bureau)” supporting the EU initiative “European Heritage Label”.Cross-sectoral areas relevant for the EHL Bureau’s work are – but not limited to – the interlinks between culture & heritage with sustainability, citizenship, accessibility, or greening.Key responsibilitiesMapping of relevant actors
  • Identify actors relevant and interested in culture and relevant cross-sectoral aspects
  • Create a database and manage relations with skilled professionals and organisations
Support community management
  • Support in the management of the European Heritage Label activities implemented by the EHL Bureau
  • Identification of new sector(s) of cooperation based on needs of EHL community members, especially concerning EU’s policy priorities and cross-sectoral topics
  • Contribute to attract new audiences and new target groups to the EHL
  • Support the co-creation and development of joint projects between EHL sites
  • Organisation of field missions to visit EHL sites
Strategic thinking
  • Development of strategic and operational documents to the EHL on Culture and cross-sectoral priorities, including sustainability, climate change and greening, accessibility and inclusivity, citizenship and youth engagement.
  • Development of monitoring and evaluation framework
A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES USDesired competencies and experience
  • Master studies in EU integration, culture, heritage, civic engagement or relevant fields
  • More than 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Proven knowledge of social media;
  • Proven knowledge of EU institutional environment is an asset;
  • Proven knowledge of the cultural heritage sector, especially in the EU;
  • Ability to interact with people and establish good relationships on a longer term;
  • Perfect oral and drafting skills in English. Others EU languages are an asset;
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools, internet research, and database creation/management;
  • Proactive and result oriented in his/her work;

The remuneration will be based on the candidate’s relevant experience.
The initial contract duration is foreseen for 12 months. Renewable may be possible in connection with project duration (until June 2026) and available budget.Location
