  • Management of supplies and raw materials
  • Define order forecast plans in line with the plant's workload and PPPs;
  • Continuously analyze stock levels, delivery delays, alert thresholds and schedule changes in order to order raw materials correctly and guarantee continuity of production;
  • Launch replenishment orders, checking the consistency of purchasing records and metal fastener information;
  • Organize stock monitoring and replenishment rules for certain indirect production consumables and PPE;
  • Analyzing billing issues and coordinating the resolution of problems;
  • Manage replenishment calls of production lines from the Raw Materials Storage
  • Raw materials stock management
  • Carry out physical inventories of the machine base and analyze discrepancies;
  • Act as the supplier interface for consignment stocks;
  • Schedule programmed replenishments in order to control end-of-month stock values;
  • Implementing and analyzing indicators for the value, rotation, obsolescence and depreciation of raw materials in stock, in order to manage working capital and know how much stock is actually available;
  • Monitor stock changes using the ABC matrix to minimize overstocking and obsolescence and implement corrective measures;
  • Performance monitoring / Application of standards / Continuous improvement
  • Submitting and monitoring requests for material deviations;
  • Working with the Quality department, to draw up and monitor supplier non-conformities and evaluate suppliers;
  • Work with other departments to find alternative solutions for improving products, packaging and management solutions (supplier mapping, vendor managed inventory (VMI), consignment, off-site stock) in order to contribute to the site's continuous improvement project;
  • Make realistic proposals for correcting discrepancies (e.g. correcting bills of materials).
  • Waste monitoring
  • Based on data from the Raw Materials Store, collect waste weighing data and monitor it (in particular end-of-month stocks and verification of weighing slips);
  • Participate actively in reconciliations of tonnages vs scrap movements with the Methods and Controlling departments and optimize requests for the removal of waste skips.

Qualification
  • Master degree in a relevant supply chain field
  • Up to 5 years working experience
  • Ability and experience to work in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Strong skills in Excel, and relevant experience working with SAP/ORTEMS.
  • Good communication and co-operation skills.
  • Fluent in French and in English (Flemish is a plus)
