What does the role entail?As a System Engineer for forage harvester applications, you take ownership of complete system features—from sensor selection to user interface definition. You will:Coordinate with stakeholders from Commercial, Mechanical, Service, Field Test, and Supplier domains to design and document the optimal mechatronic system.Lead design and supplier reviews to create best-in-class system designs.Support high-quality software delivery through clear, well-maintained system specifications on multi-CAN, multi-ECU vehicle architecture.Develop features in line with V-Cycle and applicable standards such as Functional Safety and Cyber Security.Implement new vehicle architectures and integrate new technologies.Collaborate in a cross-functional environment with strong product involvement, including hands-on field testing.Be part of an Agile development team delivering customer-focused solutions from concept to final delivery.Work in a varied role requiring coordination with other teams and suppliers.Who are we looking for?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent through experience.Knowledge of mechatronic and control system design.Strong communication skills.Experience with automotive communication concepts such as CAN Bus, J1939, Vector Tools is a plus.Experience with software development tools such as C project editors, version control (SVN, Git), MathWorks™, and Polarion is a plus.Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into specifications for software development.Versatile team player.Hands-on and customer-focused mindset.Analytical problem solver.Understanding of hydraulic, electric, and electronic control systems.Background or affinity with agriculture is a strong asset.What do we offer?Working at CNH means working in an international environment with numerous development opportunities.
