We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:
Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses);
Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid);
Gathering business requirements, designing ETL processes, performing data virtualization and data modelling;
Design and development of reporting applications and physical DBs;
Perform DB performance analysis;
Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes.
Requirements
Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture;
Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture;
Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
Knowledge of non-relational database technologies;
Excellent knowledge of SQL, business intelligence reporting tools, ETL tools and modelling tools;
Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools;
Knowledge of near real time data warehousing and/or change data capture technologies;
Good knowledge of cloud-based business intelligence design;
The following certifications would be considered as a plus: Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, Amazon Certified Data Analytics Specialty;
Excellent command of the English language.
