Mercier Consultancy is seeking a skilled Function Architect for our Data Hub and Data Governance initiatives. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that enhance data management and governance across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define the data strategy, set standards for data quality, and create a robust architecture that aligns with business objectives. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting data-driven decision-making and fostering a culture of data stewardship.   • Design and implement the architecture for the Data Hub to support data integration, accessibility, and governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Establish guidelines and best practices for data quality and management across the organization.
  • Work with data engineers and developers to ensure that data solutions meet governance requirements.
  • Conduct assessments of existing data frameworks and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Advocate for a culture of data literacy and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in data governance and architecture.
Requirements
  • Required experience / knowledgeAt least 6 years of relevant experience (IT solution architecture)Technical experiencemandatory
  • Successful experience in solution architecture
Ideally in a data-related context * Experience in large projects, requiring intermediate deliveries and transition architectures
  • Experience with architectural modelling.
  • Analysis and definition of application architectures.
preferable* Cloud experience (any provider)
  • Experience in the migration of applications (e.g. from one data center to another)
  • Experience in companies (e.g. banks) where security and resilience are a structural concern
