You'll be responsible for designing and delivering backend services and integrations that are secure, scalable, and well-documented. From API development to database modeling and test automation, you'll help us move fast without breaking things—especially in a regulated environment.Key responsibilities:Develop backend applications in PHP (Laravel) with a focus on performance and maintainabilityDesign and implement APIs and internal services for financial operationsWrite unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure system reliabilityParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product discussionsCollaborate with infrastructure and DevOps to support CI/CD and system toolingIntegrate third-party services (e.g., payment processors, core banking systems)Contribute to continuous improvement of our development standards and delivery processesWhat you bring:A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceSolid experience with PHP (Laravel); additional experience with React, C++, or Go is a strong plusStrong database skills (SQL, MariaDB) and comfort with data modelingHands-on experience with Linux and command-line tools is a plus * Eagerness to learn and confidence to work through the unknownInterest in secure software development and financial compliance principlesProblem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently on complex challengesProfessional fluency in English; French or Dutch is an advantageMotivation to grow in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWhat we offer
