- Case Management: Manage and organize case files, maintain case calendars, and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to facilitate efficient case management.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients, both in-person and via correspondence, to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries under the guidance of attorneys.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to attorneys, such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and filing legal documents.
- Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies, ensuring adherence to procedural requirements and deadlines.
- Legal Compliance: Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal procedures relevant to the firm's practice areas. Assist in ensuring the firm's compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff members to achieve common goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Studies OR a professional experience related to Law.
- Advanced levels in French and Dutch.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
