This hybrid position will be based in Zaventem, Belgium, with occasional travel to our Netherlands offices in Den Bosch, typically once a month. You will be working together with different teams, regions, and channels across the business.   • People Agenda - Develop and lead the People Agenda for the Benelux Market balancing focus on strategic initiatives, and delivery against all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Part of Leadership Team - Sitting as part of the Benelux Leadership Team, responsible to coach and develop Leaders, Managers and Teams to further advance our People Agenda and ensure continued impact against our talent and culture journey.
  • Human Resources Generalist - Leading all aspects of the Human Resources Talent & Performance cycle; performance management, succession planning, talent management, development, total rewards, and culture / engagement.
  • Strategic Partnership - Part of the Continental Europe HR Team partnering to drive impact and scale across the Region and working closely with European HR Centres of Excellence (Reward / Talent / Employee Relations) to drive Country-specific needs and initiatives.
  • Building Strong and Collaborative Relationships – Building long term partnerships with employees and management in Belgium / Netherlands, while bringing specialist and generalist knowledge and expertise in multiple HR areas.
  • Promote our Culture - Partnering with the broader Human Resources team to advance our Employee Value Proposition work, delivering on initiatives that extend employee satisfaction and tenure, and drive a true high-performing Culture of BEST.
  • Policies & Practices - Maintain a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates; developing HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping abreast of modern HR procedures and best practice.
  • People Analytics - Advancing our Data and People Analytics capabilities (across HR and Commercial) to enable data-led insights and decisions.
Your Recipe for Success
  • Prior experience in Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Business Partnering roles within an FMCG (or comparable) Industry.
  • Experience of working on initiatives across the full employee lifecycle, including Change Management, Organisation Effectiveness, Talent Management, Performance Management, Culture, and Employee Engagement.
  • Working knowledge of Belgium and Netherlands labour law and understanding of associated practices and policies with a strong understanding and experience in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • A self-starter who has the courage and the ability to drive results, challenge the status quo, manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders and continuously improve.
  • Finally, you are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus.
