- As-is: Inventorying the current system (hardware, software, and network configuration).
- Mapping out the context: Elia IT security requirements, determining which SCADA version will be delivered with the Princess Elisabeth island, availability of new hardware/software (checking and evaluating compatibility of new versions), etc.
- Scope definition, preparing an upgrade plan (with backup and recovery plan to prevent data loss), estimating budget and duration.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's student in Electromechanics or energy technologies, ideally focused on automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with programming machines, SCADA, and PLC controls is a plus.
- Excellent command of Dutch. Knowledge of English is also required.
- A proactive attitude with good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Period and Duration:
The internship takes place from June to September or from September to December, with a duration of a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks. You are expected to work 3 to 4 days a week.
