About ENTSO-EENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. You will work collaboratively across all sections of the Secretariat to ensure strategic alignment and effective reporting to our governance bodies.This role requires regular engagement with key European stakeholders such as the European Commission, ACER, and the EU DSO Entity. It allows for hybrid working setup with partial remote flexibility and requires occasional travel (maximum 1–2 days per month).Your ResponsibilitiesYou will contribute to the Association’s work in areas including operational framework and connection network codes. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage a team of 4 specialists: set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews. Support individual development and contribute to HR initiatives.
Ensure delivery of work programmes and provide strategic and operational support to working groups, convenors, and project managers.
Plan, monitor, and report on deliverables for various working groups including the Steering Group Operational Framework, Steering Group Strategy and Steering Group Connection Network Codes .
Contribute to the preparation of System Operations Committee and System Development Committee meetings alongside with Secretariat colleagues.
Guide strategic activities within the Association, ensuring decision-making processes are inclusive, efficient, and aligned with ENTSO-E governance.
Foster constructive cooperation with the EU DSO Entity and the DSOs.
Maintain and strengthen dialogue with ACER, the European Commission, and other European Stakeholders. Build trust and ensure transparency through fora such as the European Stakeholder Committees.
Promote a cross-cutting approach to the development of regulatory amendments and development of legal methodologies.
Your ProfileWe are looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills:
University degree in engineering, policy, business administration or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the electricity or energy sector, ideally with a focus on system operation or regulation.
Experience as a team leader or people manager is an asset.
Deep understanding of European electricity market regulation and system operation.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to facilitate consensus and stakeholder alignment.
Excellent project management and strategic planning abilities.
Highly collaborative, organised, and proactive mindset.
Comfortable working in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
