- Guidance for students (BA and MA):
- individual sessions (short-term guidance or referrals)
- group training sessions (e.g. time management, eating disorders, whatever is relevant at that moment)
- open group discussions without a pre-agreed theme
- Case-by-case approach
- Consultation with tutors, teachers and team
- Providing advice, contributing to well-being policy, attending meetings (departmental meetings/teacher meetings/student council, depending on the topic)
- Flexibility, autonomy of work and over your own agenda, but your schedule must be aligned with that of the students
- Evening work is sometimes necessary (e.g. for training)
- The students are primarily international. The working language at the school is English and consultations, workshops and any other session will be held in English
- Pro-activity and own initiatives are welcomed! There is great receptiveness to psychoanalytic work; other approaches are also welcome.
- You have a BA degree in psychology.
- You speak, read, write and understand English on a professional level (C1/2); Knowledge of other languages (NL, FR and/ or other languages) is a plus.
- You have MS Office experience and you are comfortable in using Google Apps platforms and Drive.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You enjoy working in a team virtually, hybrid and on location.
- You use interpersonal skills effectively in relation to a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups.
- You are eager to work closely with different stakeholders and a wide array of student backgrounds.
- You have the ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Must have working rights in Belgium.
- Experience as student psychologist and working with international students
- Affinity with the dance world and the cultural sector
- An understanding of higher education sector
- Special certifications in the field are a plus
- Collaboration on a part-time basis
- Free commuting when using public transport
- A position in an international working environment
- The possibility of being part of spectacles, performances and shows
