Category Manager FMCGTo reinforce our Purchase Team, we are looking for an Assistant Category Manager – Full time - Located in AntwerpResponsibilitiesAs assistant to the category manager, your main responsibility is to work with him to ensure flawless cooperation with our suppliers from product mix to invoice.Every day is different, but you can expect the following activities:Keeping everything up to date with regard to these suppliers, including prices, product lists, contracts and product documentation.You are always looking for ways to optimize the partnerships, preparing annual meetings with them, implementing improvement projects and strategies.You assist the Category manager in preparing pricing and reconciliations.You assist in obtaining an optimal stock, monitor the correct supplier and product mix. You also work proactively with slow moving stock.You follow up the collaboration with our suppliers in detail, up to and including the correct invoicing.The profile of our ideal candidateYou can fall back on a Master's degree in an economic field or can rely on similar experience.You have a hands on mentalityYou are fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plusYou have strong written and verbal communication skillsYou can work with different peopleAs a good coordinator you have a helicopter view, and can easily zoom in to get all the details right.You can demonstrate that you have our core competencies.
