We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our Aftermarket and Product Support department as a Head of Product Support.The Head of Product Support manages a team of service engineers, regional service managers, internal customer support coordinators, trainers and supporting staff ensuring effective delivery of aftermarket support to the European dealer network and customers. This involves technical support, warranty support and parts support.His task will be to maintain a positive, constructive working environment which drives a customer-focused culture.What can you expect from this challenging job?You lead and support a team of service engineers, regional service managers, technical trainers and internal customer support managers. You motivate people to achieve team or personal goals.You manage dealer relationships and seek solutions that are in the best interests of both dealers and the own company. You will use diplomacy and persuasion to ensure commercial interests and customer satisfaction.You will evaluate dealer’s service capabilities and drive dealer development in a cross-functional way.You follow-up claim handling, bulletins and campaigns and you make sure that technical issues reported by the team or directly by dealers are resolved correctly and timely.You analyze main technical issues with a helicopter view and steer / follow-up necessary actions in an objective and clear way.You have the end responsibility for all technical trainings.You provide objective analysis for complex challenges to limit and address issues promptly in the most time and cost efficient way.You lead meetings with dealers related to more complex technical / warranty issues.You develop and improve strategic plans in line with the organization’s mission and vision, with a focus on continuous improvement.You schedule, organize and lead team meetings.You regularly report about technical and general product support issues in a clear an structured way to our HQ in Korea.You support new initiatives such as uptime center in a constructive way.Are you the new colleague we are looking for?You have at least 5 years of experience in leading a technical team preferably in the heavy equipment industry or agricultural machines industry.You have excellent leadership skills. You are an experienced and inspiring people manager who has worked in an international role where you have made a significant impact.You have experience in international dealer development and standards.You have a bachelor’s or master degree.You speak and write fluently in English and you have a good knowledge of either French ,German or Italian.You are a born communicator.You have a solid technical background.You are willing to travel throughout Europe to visit our dealers (20-30%).
