Today, John Cockerill Defense offers Cockerill® modular gun turrets from 25 to 120 mm caliber, Arquus® high-mobility vehicles, technical and tactical training on these systems, and Agueris simulators.Your Mission:In order to improve the automated production test benches, a dedicated Interface Test Adapter (ITA) is required to link PC/104-type electronic cards (combining an ISA bus and a PCI-Express bus) to the existing test system.The internship's main objective is to design, develop and qualify this adapter, ensuring:
  • Mechanical compatibility with the PC/104 form factor (84-pin, 3 U, 3 cm × 5 cm).
  • Electrical interfacing of ISA (8 / 16-bit) and PCI-Express (x1, x2) signals to the bench equipment (signal generators, analyzers, relay matrices).
  • Automatic card detection and resource configuration to support a fully plug-and-play test flow.

Your Profile:
  • Student in a bachelor's degree education level in electronic
  • Minimum level B2 in French and English
  • Available for at least of 2-3 months
Your Internal Support:During this internship, you will be supported by the electronic R&D department and the electronic industrialization and prototyping department of John Cockerill Defense. The internal supervisors will be:
  • Matthieu Close (R&D engineer) - project definition
  • Fabrice Trotta (Test Engineer) - day-to-day support - tester support
