Our client is a leading company active on the automative industry. They are looking for a Business Controller based in the Brussels Area (flemish part). You will strengthen the Finance & Administration team and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of this multinational automotive group operating in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Oversee the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly closing processes for sales models and channels within your area. Serve as a strategic partner to the business, working closely with sales and marketing teams. (50%)
Engage in discussions around commercial action plans, assess their financial impacts, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and identify opportunities to meet yearly objectives.
Review and approve pricing proposals for new products. Challenge assumptions to optimize product-version and option mixes. Ensure the appropriate allocation of commercial resources across sales channels.
Present financial results to the executive committee and Business Units in the region. Perform detailed analyses on volume, margin, and the effectiveness of commercial resources.
Ensure the successful rollout of approved commercial initiatives, including network communications, payment procedures, and accounting for promotional activities.
Maintain accurate provisions and provide supporting documentation for auditors during the annual financial close.
Audit and Payment Control of Commercial Activities: (25%)
Manage the payment workflow for commercial incentives, implement control frameworks, and initiate audits as necessary.
Supervise the commercial actions controller and oversee resolution of dealer claims.
CFO Support on Cross-Functional Matters: (25%)
Lead initiatives in internal control, compliance, and risk management by identifying process improvements and strengthening operational controls.
Conduct financial analysis to support various business cases and decision-making.

You hold a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting and have a strong affinity for numbers and IT systems.
You have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
You are bilingual in English and French. Dutch is a plus.
You have good commercial awareness and an interest in the automotive industry.
You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. SAP knowledge is an advantage. You are eager to dive into the tools and systems of Renault Group.
You possess strong people management skills and can communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. You are responsible and proactive. You are precise, organized, and analytical.
