Job PurposeThe mission of the Channel Manager (Truck & Bus) is to participate in the creation of a defensible, sustainable and profitable business by creating compelling and differentiated solutions for dealers and fleet partnersIn this role, the position holder will collaborate with Replacement TBR (Truck & Bus) sales, Dealer & Fleet Enablement and Retread teams across EU to help develop & deliver a consolidated Go-To-Market (G2M) strategy (where applicable) focusing on markets with a 'Direct approach'.Responsibilities: * Mapping current network status:
Market analysis by Prem/Mid including network known to Bridgestone (BS) (Equity, franchise, BS Partners etc.), extending to 'Prospects' outside current network.
Mapping and highlighting white spots in the current network
Converging network maps built across the value chain and working on an E2E network map for TB New - Retread - Fleet(s)
G2M Strategy & Building Future Network
Utilize existing models like Vertical integration, Courier, Cornerstone and deploying where relevant.
Use Fit for Purpose (F4P) framework to work on potential gaps and work on new models to generate 'BS stickiness' in the market.
Create modular Give and Take (G&T) packages with all potential value enablers including but not limited to Retread, fleet solutions, FMS, advanced solutions etc.
Reporting and Operations
Periodic reporting of market map (network status, key partners, issues & escalation where necessary)
Network Enablement & Execution
Deploy robust data interchange systems (key for effective distribution partnership) in collaboration with BS IT (EDI) team
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key channel partners to ensure product visibility, sales, and satisfaction
Drive contract negotiations together with regional sales teams and agreement terms with channel partners.
Qualifications & Experience RequiredEducation, Master, other certification:
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
Experience (years):
3-7 years of experience in sales or business administration field
Proven experience in network development and/or management (dealers/franchises)
Experience in automotive / fleet industry is highly desirable
Technical Skills:
Analytical mindset and data-oriented approach to sales
High proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Ideally PowerBI user experience (not development)
Experience working with ERP (SAP)
Financial Acumen: Understanding budgeting, cost analysis, and the financial impact of decisions.
Negotiation Skills: For managing contracts with customers
Languages Skills:
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
