  • You are responsible for developing and maintaining a PSM (Process Safety Management) program in our Beerse site (Seveso TIER 2). Starting from a maturity study covering all PSM elements, define a roadmap for continuous improvement.
  • You advise on process safety and technical safety and answer questions about ATEX, HAZOP/LOPA, SIL/PL, Static electricity or other PSM elements.
  • You participate as expert in HAZOP / SWIFT assessments for the Beerse site (20 days/year)
  • You further expand Process safety and technical safety expertise together with the technical departments and the global PSM organization.
  • You develop a training plan for process safety, create and provide specific process safety training.
  • You represent EHS on the work floor to support in incident investigations, input for management of change, advice on PSM or technical topics.
  • You assist or lead internal and external (PSM) audits.
  • You participate in an on-call system in the context of internal emergency planning at the Beerse site.
Qualifications
  • You have a technical Master's degree (Industrial Engineer, Bio-Engineer, Civil Engineer) or equivalent through experience.
  • You have additional training in process safety (HAZOP, ATEX, functional safety) or are willing to take additional training courses.
  • You have knowledge and experience in the field of chemistry and process safety.
  • You have a degree in prevention advisor level 1, master of safety engineering or are willing to obtain this.
  • You enjoy achieving results, both independently and with diverse teams.
  • You can express yourself fluently (written and oral) in Dutch and English.
  • You can deal with people at all levels within a large and complex organization.
  • You can take initiative to achieve goals and achieve results in a timely manner. Being able to plan your own tasks in advance is therefore an important added value.
  • You are willing to travel (10%).
