About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Medior Network Engineer to join a dynamic IT Services team responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of critical network infrastructure. This role supports a 24/7 operational environment, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of a complex network landscape including datacenters, WAN/LAN/WLAN, cloud connectivity, and security systems.Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain network and security infrastructure: Cisco Nexus, F5, Infoblox, Meraki SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN, Checkpoint Firewalls, Ivanti VPN, and more.
Focus initially on LAN/WAN operations and projects.
Handle incident management across L1, L2, and L3 levels in a 24/7 datacenter and customer environment.
Deliver and support WAN/LAN/WLAN, datacenter, and DevOps projects.
Collaborate with peers on both project-based and routine operational tasks.
Provide expert support for (W)LAN and WAN components during incidents and problem resolution.
Automate administrative and operational procedures using scripting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Ensure network availability, security, and performance in line with SLAs and IT security standards.
Technical Skills & Experience
Approximately 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on LAN/WAN.
Experience with cloud networking is essential.
Familiarity with Cisco Nexus VXLAN is a plus.
Solid understanding of storage and backup technologies.
Proficiency with security equipment such as firewalls, reverse proxies, IDS/IPS, etc.
Hands-on experience with the listed vendors and technologies is highly desirable.
