🗣 Languages: English + French or DutchRole Summary On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Test Engineer to strengthen their testing team. The consultant will start by supporting manual testing activities and later contribute to test automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role that combines test design, execution, and continuous improvement, working closely with analysts, developers, and project leaders to ensure the quality and stability of delivered solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Execute functional, regression, and non-regression tests during development phases.
  • Design, document, and maintain test scenarios and test cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Report test results, progress, and quality metrics to the development team and project leaders.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of automated test frameworks.
  • Participate in the review and approval of test deliverables (scenarios, plans, automated scripts, reports).
  • Ensure tests are properly executed within the applicable environment and adjust the framework where necessary.
  • Monitor progress against timelines and provide structured reporting.
  • Analyze testing outcomes and suggest improvements to the development cycle to prevent recurring issues.
Technical Profile
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Test Engineer.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Good understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices (ISTQB certification is a plus).
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, RQM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other test/project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD testing pipelines is an asset.
Non-Technical Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with limited supervision.
  • Structured, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Quick learner, motivated self-starter, and proactive contributor.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to produce clear documentation and follow established testing procedures.
