You'll be surrounded by an open, collaborative culture that embraces diversity, recognition, professional development and, most importantly, you.Are you ready to make your impact?About the RoleFTI Consulting Brussels is seeking an EU Public Affairs professional to join its TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) team as a Senior Director.The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in Public Affairs, combined with a strong interest in TMT policy and industry developments. Solid technical knowledge of recent EU regulatory initiatives in TMT policy areas will be considered an asset.You will join a diverse and proactive team of policy experts advising a broad range of TMT clients on navigating complex public policy and communications challenges. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in servicing client accounts by creatively designing and executing programmes in close collaboration with colleagues. Beyond supporting client engagements, you will oversee the day-to-day management of multiple workstreams and mentor junior team members.In addition, you will be expected to drive business development by expanding existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and converting them into long-term partnerships.What You'll DoClient delivery: Provide strategic advice to a portfolio of clients, manage accounts on a day-to-day basis, and build strong relationships with client stakeholders. Take ownership of relationships by creatively designing and delivering impactful campaigns.Business development: Proactively identify new business opportunities and collaborate with colleagues on activities such as pitch preparation and delivery.Team leadership: Provide project line management for team members working on your accounts, while sharing knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues to support their growth.Networking: Actively engage with EU stakeholders, policymakers, and potential clients to expand and strengthen your professional network.How You'll GrowYou will have the opportunity to work in some of the most challenging and fascinating public policy issues currently being tackled in Europe in TMT. You will have the opportunity to lead or take a leading role in a range of substantial client accounts and business development project, expanding your strategic acumen and commercial drive and skillset. As a senior member of the team, you will be able to further develop your ability to develop, motivate and support the growth of team members. You will be part of a dynamic and multinational team of experts based in Brussels and you will be able to work closely with other FTI offices and segments - expanding your personal insight and contacts within our global network, covering the full suite of business and management consulting professionals.What You Will Need to SucceedBasic QualificationsStrong academic background.Solid experience in a consultancy, in-house role, trade association, public institution, or in advising clients on policy and communications matters.Proven expertise in public affairs, advocacy, and issues/reputation management within TMT policy.Solid understanding of the EU policymaking process and hands-on experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in Brussels and national capitals to shape strategic objectives.Excellent command of English; proficiency in one or two additional languages is an asset.Strong interest in and affinity with the technology ecosystem.Total WellbeingOur goal is to support the wellbeing of you and your families-physically, emotionally, and financially.
