- understand the technical nature of the raw materials in a sector of raw materials Plastics/Polymers as primary focus, and also some customers in the segment of PU & Coatings.
- The overall objective of the role is to grow both the turnover and profitability of performance product portfolio/market as a priority.
- Evaluation, definition, and positioning product portfolio according to market requirement.
- Ensures the Sales & Commercial introduction to targeted marketplace - Searching for opportunities, maintaining, and expanding contacts in the branch.
- Quoting and negotiating with customers
- Implement Pipeline for new projects.
- Maintain operational contacts with a selected group of suppliers and communicate the ins and outs to the Sales Team.
- Regular follow up of turnover/ margins according to budget and objectives
- Participation to the promotion, marketing actions and communication (trade fairs, associations…)
- Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within areas of responsibility.
- Prevents and manages the conflicts of any nature with customers
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Chemical/Plastics/Materials/Polymers.
- Sales - Commercial Experience of 2-7 years minimum in Plastics sectors will be a plus..
- Proactive - Flexible - Enthusiastic - Confident - Team player able to interact with different people - Result oriented.
- Excellent clear concise communicator - Ability to use own initiative.
- Problem solver - Self-motivated, must be able to work independently.
- Have the patience to pioneering and facing long-term projects.
- Desire for domestic travel on a regular long-term basis- Up to 50% - Full driving License.
