In this role you will support operations by implementing and administering a full scope of human resources plans and activities that contribute to organizational excellence and promote positive employee relations. These activities involve the performance of diverse human resources duties in the areas of staffing, compensation, training, performance management, work culture improvement, employee communications and other business/employee-related activities. Create and maintain a relationship with site leadership teams at all levels of the organization, acting as a business partner Develop and deploy HR strategies to manage talent, drive the culture, and align the organization for a small plant Lead the recruitment and staffing processes to ensure the hiring of highly skilled and talented individuals, supporting plant operations through planning headcount and succession planning Ensure that the Sint-Niklaas plant complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, relevant employment legislation, and company policies. Implement local HR policies and procedures in alignment with EBS. Ensure proper and effective personnel administration and reporting, e.g., headcount, time and attendance, payroll. Identify the learning, training, and development needs of the organization and support effective delivery and evaluation of training Build managers' leadership capability, using coaching skills to influence behaviour and business decisions to be consistent with our values and ethical standards. Ensure effective deployment and utilization of performance management systems and work as a partner with managers throughout the process Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited institution At least 2 years of HR generalist experience At least 2 years of experience at manufacturing environment in operations. Fluency in Dutch and English Familiarity with Belgian labour law (regulations, standards, and enforcement agencies) Strong labour relations skills, including labour law knowledge, contract negotiations & daily contract administration Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations Strong hands-on mentality and organizational skills to include time management, manpower planning and wage/salary/benefits planning Independent and self-motivated with initiative and willingness to learn
