In search of Technical Superintendent (TSI):The TSI is responsible for the overall management and technical operations of the fleet. This includes:Directly reporting on a Daily/Weekly/Monthly basis to the Fleet manager on all works executed and all scheduled maintenance and repairs scheduled for coming Days/Weeks/Months.Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational or otherwise managed accordingly to the management agreement.Attend to vessel dry docking, repairs and survey when required and determine repair specifications for drydocking and maintenance.Provide and compile documented reports upon completion of dry docking, including summaries of works performed, operational budgets, and actual expenditures.Identify and source for technical and operational supplies required for the vessels and ensure the rates are most economical.Support the Marine superintendent to ensure that all copies of statutory, Solas and equipment certificates (life rafts, compasses, etc) are properly maintained and documented and stored in the applicable systems.Provide technical assistance and advice to ships both at home port and overseasPerform monthly review of logs processes with regular visits onboard vessels and through the help of applications.Monitor technical status of vessel with relation to class certification and survey.Supervise contractors’ repair/maintenance of vesselsPerform technical compliance audits and investigation on defects/failures on a regular scheduled basis to ensure conformanceWork closely with the Marine Superintendent and HSE team to ensure smooth and successful implementation of QHSE system and policies onboard all vesselsPerform systematic review of recommended codes, guidelines and standards and ensure compliance with Quality & Safety Management standardsEnsure the compliance of the vessels to the ISM Code within his area of responsibility.Lead by example in demonstrating the correct behavior regarding HSE.What do we expect from you?Degree in Marine Engineering or relevant experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering5 years minimum experience in a leadership roleExperience with Planned Maintenance SystemsWilling to travel when needed (vessel interventions)Must have a full driving licenseGood knowledge of EnglishFlexible work attitudeWhat do we offer you?A challenging job in a fast-growing environment.A good working climate within a young dynamic team.A Competitive salaryThe chance to actively grow within our organization
