The client is looking for a (Senior) Key Account Manager - Retail clients - FMCG Company to join his team in Brussels.
Own and grow relationships with major Retail accounts (supermarkets, discounters, convenience, e-commerce).
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue, market share, and brand visibility.
Lead negotiations on annual agreements (pricing, promotions, trade terms) in line with company objectives.
Collaborate closely with marketing, category management and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of customer plans.
Analyze market trends, category performance, and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities.
Monitor customer performance and take corrective actions when needed to reach KPIs.
Report directly to the Head of Sales and act as a sparring partner for cross-functional initiatives.
Possible people management in the future
KAMFMCG sector
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in key account management in the FMCG food or beverage sector.
Solid knowledge of the Belgian retail landscape, especially Retail (off-trade).
Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-maker.
Entrepreneurial, result-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent communication in Dutch, French, and English.
Experience with tools like Nielsen, IRI, or internal BI systems is a plus.
