As a member of the scientific team you will be responsible for the markets in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. In the team you are responsible for the scientific & regulatory support of all business areas (cosmetics, beauty devices and medical devices). This role mainly focus on ensuring products and all communication materials are compliant with local regulations and management of health-related complaints.In this role you will be working with various stakeholders and departments such as legal, marketing, sales, consumer care, sustainability and communication departments as well as with the international experts of L'Oréal Research.As scientific and regulatory affairs specialist you will be working on:
- Management of health-related complaints (Cosmetovigilance) in coordination with the consumer care service, internal dermatologists and documentation of the processes
- Review of communications -packaging, digital, internet, adverts: based on efficacy testing, ingredient performance and regulatory requirements.
- Support in technical/scientific issues: e.g. information on ingredients, product technologies, modes of action, scientific backgrounds
- Collaboration with internal interfaces such as: Legal, Marketing, Sales, Training and Communication Departments as well as with the international experts of L'Oreal Research
- Scientific Background (Life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry , biochemistry or food technology)
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English (absolute must-have), knowledge of French is an advantage
- 0 to 3 years experience in cosmetic industry
- Has experience with effective internal and external stakeholder management
