- The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for planning, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, estimating, and selling of fleet vehicles;
- Manage ongoing utility fleet preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the highest levels of safety, reliability, and lowest overall lifecycle ownership and operating costs;
- Develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships;
- Manage handovers of cars between outgoing and incoming employees including temporary vehicle hire when required;
- Take the lead in developing an EV fleet transition strategy based on local regulations and requirements;
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations throughout countries where we have fleet vehicles;
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies; must be able to enforce policies and provide feedback where needed to ensure compliance across all associates with fleet vehicles;
- Effectively communicate current and future utility fleet needs;
- Effectively utilize all Medpace Management System tools. Manage reporting and maintain accurate records
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines;
- Lead a safe driving and a safety-first culture;
- Ensure car allowances where provided are appropriate to local guidelines and remain within policy;
- Other duties as required by manager.
- 5 years work experience in a coordinator level role supporting and/or managing company car fleet/fleet vehicles;
- Intermediate skills in excel/Microsoft office in order to create reports and efficiently analyze data;
- Experience working in a matrix team environment, cross-functional coordination;
- Exceptional communication skills, Fluent in English;
- Ability to analyze processes and data and make recommendations for process improvements and defining program goals and guidelines
- Proactive attitude and the ability to ‘make things happen’;
- Attention to detail;
- Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment;
