Freelance Brand Sourcing Manager - Retail - Zaventem

• Define and implement a sourcing calendar and new sourcing approaches

• Responsible for the implementation of the national brand sourcing strategy and procedures

• Taking countermeasures in case of non-compliance

• Assessing and following up on suppliers

• Propose and implement mitigation measures

• Implementing the supplier selectivity tool in collaboration with category management

• Negotiate with predetermined contact persons of the suppliers

• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in negotiation

• Extensive experience in NB negotiations within the retail sector

• Knowledge of category management is an asset

• Knowledge of food/non-food markets and production processes

• Expertise in international certification and quality standards

• Being able to network and convert this into business opportunities

• Strong negotiation skills (very complex stakeholders)
