Our global values of Authenticity, Diversity & Inclusion, Respect, Health & Happiness and Respect, as well as our focus on customers and employees; good nutrition and quality systems have shaped every part of our culture and the Metagenics way of life.Position overview:The Regional Innovation Manager is accountable for defining and executing the long-term innovation strategy , roadmap and develop and execute the pipeline for the relevant region.What you will do:Lead the development of the long-term innovation strategy & roadmap for the region, aligning global and local stakeholdersLeverage global innovation to achieve regional financial goals and strategic outcomesDevelop innovation pipeline, including product innovation, consumer claims & repositioningCollaborate with local & global marketing teams, Research & Innovation, Procurement & Procut Development teams on product innovation, consumer claims, repositioningLead the regional innovation process and prepare and present global and local approvals (concepts, business cases, P&L, forecasting)Understand the global natural medicines and Vitamins & Supplements market and provide in depth understanding of consumers, competitors, portfolio, productsPartner with cross functional team to identify growth opportunities, consumer unmet needs, emerging trendsLead cross functional communication with key internal and external stakeholdersIdentify where to play and where to win categories for region based on Global Category strategiesOngoing analysis of business data, sales information, competitive insights, consumer research, and other meaningful information to shape innovation roadmapProvide strategic direction to cross-functional partners (marketing, Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance) in the development and execution of innovation strategy and pipelineLead business case, financial targets and forecasts in partnership with finance and regional commercial teamsSupport development of innovation launch toolkits & handovers to regionsCollaborate with Global Marketing Managers on category strategies & innovation ideationPortfolio & product lifecycle management for regionYou will love this job if:You have passion for innovation development and consumer understanding.You like to translate science into consumer relevant languageYou have the ability to lead cross functional teams, embed consumer-led thinking and keep teams focused on the business objectives and targeted outcomes.You get energized from juggling around a multitude of projects, stay connected with external market environment and have the ability to pivot and roll up your sleeves to get things doneWhat you'll need:Bachelor’s degree required5 years’ experience in Marketing/Innovation, with experience in consumer-packaged goodsDemonstrated ability to develop and cultivate collaborative and inclusive relationships and lead cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to define a portfolio vision and strategy and successfully bring the organization along to achieve flawless executionExcellent multi-tasking and prioritization skillsExperience to command presence, influence and effectively lead senior executive level communicationAbility to read and analyze financials, consumer research, and syndicated data and trends, and synthesize data into compelling insights to drive growth, improve ROI and overall help contribute to the thriving health of the businessAdvanced communication and presentation skillsDesired:Project management experience including stage-gate methodologyExperience in design thinking methodologiesWhat's on offer:National contract of the pharmaceutical industryCompetitive salary package
