We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.The Commercial Department at our head office in Brussels is looking for a Sales Support Assistant (m/f/x).Job purposeThe Sales Support Assistant supports commercial operations by managing customer onboarding, maintaining communication, and improving digital tools and services to enhance customer experience.Your responsibilities
As a member of the Sales Support team, you will be responsible for following up on requests and contracts for transmission, storage and LNG terminalling activities, and will guide and support prospective customers through the whole due diligence process to become a fully-fledged customer. Together with your immediate colleagues, you will be the point of contact for our customers (international companies operating on the Belgian gas market), familiarise them with our various products and ensure that they always get the best service.
You will ensure smooth communication, electronically, in writing and verbally, with our customers.
You will help update and maintain the sections on our commercial website and will coordinate this with other commercial teams at Fluxys entities abroad.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer knowledge base, supporting the key account managers when they are planning meetings with our customers by collecting relevant information about our customers and prospects and by subsequently logging and following up on the various action points.
You will help organise events where we meet our customers.
In your role as key user of a number of business applications for which you will become the expert, you will contribute to the implementation of new services and functionalities requested by our customers.
You will describe business cases and test scenarios so that IT can develop these in the various applications based on your input, and will also implement these scenarios. You will investigate why certain results do not match your test scenarios, and will make the required proposed improvements.
About you
You hold a bachelor's degree, preferably with a specialization in administration or business
You are a team player with an attention to detail and a knack for numbers.
You have a commercial mindset, are a good communicator, have a talent for writing clear texts (including for the internet) and possess organisational flair and excellent interpersonal skills.
You are eager to learn, with a desire to gain a thorough knowledge of our market operations, and are flexible and willing to take the initiative.
You are fluent in Dutch and with a very good knowledge of both French and English
You know and understand the digital space and are open to continuously monitoring digital trends.
You are a proficient user of MS Office. A knowledge of web content management tools (e.g. Sitecore) or customer relationship management tools (Dynamics 365) would be a plus
