- The Product Owner (PO) is integral in envisioning and defining the direction for Data Products.
- They create a mission board and translate the vision into actionable items like epics and tickets.
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders ensures a deep understanding of business context and needs.
- This understanding facilitates the development of a clear product roadmap and transparent reporting to both the squad and business stakeholders.
- The PO oversees the delivery of BI and Analytic Data products for their assigned business domains within their squad.
- They monitor service operations and quality, ensuring adherence to requirements and standards.
- The PO plays a crucial role in squad efficiency, allocating resources, identifying training needs, and maintaining communication channels.
- Sprint deliverables and results are communicated to stakeholders through sprint review meetings.
- Coordination of dependencies and improvements involves collaboration with other POs, squads, suppliers, and IT.
- Continuous professional development ensures up-to-date expertise in company processes, enabling the PO to recommend solutions and enhancements.
- Experienced POs act as strategic advisors, providing guidance on leveraging data for business development.
- Optionally, the PO may take on the role of Scrum Master, organizing sprint reviews, facilitating communication, and guiding the squad towards sprint goals in daily stand-ups.
- Master diploma in IT, applied economics (or other business oriented degree) or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or 5+ years experience in business analysis or business process management or project management
- You need to be proficient in both Dutch and English language
- Experience in Jira, notions of Tableau and Google Cloud Platform are a plus
- Project experience in a cloud-based environment

- Strong communicative skills (both oral and written) and ability to adapt his/her style depending on the situation
- Ability to manage, motivate and coach employees (project members) from a non-hierarchical position, in order to achieve the project goals
