BEA is looking for a Product Compliance Officer, based in Liège (Belgium), to support the compliance of its innovative sensing solutions from concept to market — and beyond.In this role, you'll ensure that our products meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle. You’ll monitor evolving standards and regulations, manage external certification partners and labs, and provide internal guidance and training on compliance topics. Acting as a key point of contact across departments, you’ll help embed compliance into every stage of product development.Reporting directly to the Product Compliance Manager, you’ll play a central role in making sure BEA’s products are ready — and safe — for markets worldwide.MISSIONAs a Product Compliance Officer, your mission is to give support to the compliance activities of BEA from the concept of the products up to their introduction on the market. Your responsibilities include:Product Compliance & CertificationEnsure products meet all legal and normative requirements, including functional safety and cybersecurity. Maintain compliance documentation, review reports, and manage any related disputes. Project follow-up with certification bodies and testing labs.Regulatory & Standards MonitoringTrack evolving legislation and standards across key markets (EU, US, China, Japan, etc.). Support internal stakeholders involved in standardization efforts to help anticipate and influence changes.Internal Training & SupportProvide training and guidance on compliance topics to internal teams. Advise project teams during development and assist Sales and Product Managers in customer or association interactions.Environmental Compliance SupportContribute to environmental regulatory monitoring by informing the QHSE team of relevant changes and updates.YOUR PROFILEYou hold a degree in industrial or civil engineering, with interest in electronics, sensors, and embedded systems.You have at least a first professional experience in an industrial/technological environment, ideally related to Product Compliance.You are attracted to regulation, compliance and cybersecurity standards.You have a very good knowledge of the spoken and written English and French languages.You have good written and verbal communication skills.
