We combine technical expertise with a people-focused approach, ensuring our clients receive practical, compliant, and effective solutions.Your role and responsibilities:You will be responsible for Personal Income Tax Compliance within GES, owning processes end-to-end and ensuring excellence for a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with partners, other teams, and RSM colleagues worldwide, you will drive efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction in every aspect of compliance.Team & Process Management
  • Lead the personal income tax compliance team, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent quality.
  • Manage planning, allocation, and review of work, driving process improvements and technology adoption.
  • Coach and mentor team members, providing regular feedback and fostering professional growth
Client Delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding Belgian personal income tax compliance, including in cross-border situations.
  • Ensure timely preparation, review, and filing of personal income tax returns and related calculations, including tax equalizations and hypothetical tax adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and alignment with client policies.
  • Technical & Strategic Contribution
  • Apply in-depth technical knowledge to resolve complex tax compliance matters.
  • Work with advisory colleagues to identify additional opportunities for clients.
  • Monitor legislative changes and translate them into practical compliance processes.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy/Tax, Law, Economics, or related field.
  • Additional taxation qualifications (e.g., postgraduate in tax law) are an asset but not mandatory if compensated by relevant experience.
Experience
  • 7+ years of relevant personal income tax experience, ideally including Belgian compliance in both domestic and cross-border contexts.
  • Experienced in managing compliance processes.
  • Exposure to cross-border employment taxation and related compliance requirements.
Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills in Dutch, French and English.
  • Proactive, autonomous, hands-on problem solver who takes ownership.
  • Skilled at fostering a collaborative, quality-focused culture.
