Design Manager Cables

• Lead the cable design process aimed at delivering an optimal solution considering the full project life cycle, stakeholder requirements, and Client's success criteria.
• Interface with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and specialists for solving complex project challenges related to the design, fabrication, installation, and operation of offshore wind farms.
• Provide engineering expertise and advice to support the successful execution of our offshore wind cable projects and tenders.
• Support the commercial tendering process by reviewing tender documents and providing technical support to contractual Client meetings.
• Assist in the selection and contracting process of third-party cable and cable protection system suppliers.
• Initiate and maintain design management tools throughout various design phases, including a design time schedule, opportunity and risk register, design decision register, and design management plan.
• Lead and/or support in a range of innovative internal research and development studies.

• Must have: Bachelor or master's degree in electrical, Civil, Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Must have: at least 5 years of working experience in engineering expertise in the offshore wind cable domain, or relevant industry

• fluent in verbal and written English
• You will work in the office in Breda, the Netherlands. Relocation is necessary if not living in Belgium or the Netherlands.
