We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team onsite at a prestigious European institution. If you thrive in dynamic environments, love translating complex policy into engaging content, and have a knack for building online communities, this role is for you.Responsibilities:
  • Create and curate daily content across multiple platforms, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Write press releases and monitor news related to international partnerships and development cooperation.
  • Design and implement social media strategies in close collaboration with web, audiovisual, and graphic design teams.
  • Engage with influencers, journalists, and content creators to amplify key messages and achievements.
  • Manage online communities and participate in relevant conversations.
  • Analyse trends and performance, using analytics tools to uncover actionable insights.
  • Report on KPIs for both paid and organic campaigns, and evaluate impact.
  • Support high-level communications, including collaboration with the Commissioner’s Cabinet.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in political communication and media relations.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience for the role
  • English C2 level
  • Strong understanding of EU international partnerships and development cooperation.
  • Ability to translate policy language into accessible, engaging content.
  • Creativity backed by examples of original strategies or content.
  • Proficiency in social analytics tools, Meta Business Suite, and SEO.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in content strategy.
  • Excellent writing, research, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
