ContextJohn Cockerill and Technip Energies; two industrial leaders in the hydrogen market, announce the launch of Rely, a unique provider of integrated and competitive green hydrogen solutions.Rely will address the market for industrial and utility scale projects with the ambition to reach revenues of more than €1 billion by 2030.Headquartered in Brussels, Rely will be 60%-owned by Technip Energies and 40%-owned by John Cockerill and led by Damien Eyriès from Technip Energies as Chief Executive Officer and Jean Jouet from John Cockerill as Chief Technology Officer. From inception, the new company will benefit from the service of more than 200 hydrogen specialists.Innovation will be instrumental in breaking cost barriers and enabling the rapid growth of green hydrogen markets for Rely. Through a unique research and development platform, based in Liège, which will deliver technology enhancements, new technologies and products, and improved project economics for green hydrogen and power-to-X markets.Position SummaryThe GNH3 Product Owner is responsible of the product development of a standardized and optimized 600 TPD GNH3 plant based on JCH2 electrolyzes technology and a potential external partner. The GNH3 Product Owner will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the product, in alignment with the company's strategy, quality standards, and customer expectations.The Product Owner (PO) primary objective is to develop a competitive Rely product easy to configurate together with maximizing extent of content re-use on projects. In line with the strategy of Rely, the product developed will offer key differentiators from the competition to reach a schedule effective and cost driven solution.He/She will participate in the earlier phases of product development, in support to the Innovation team. He/She will lead the development of the product. The leadership from R&D environment to Operations will be between TRL6 and 7.The PO must ensure that the product is ready for commercialization and to switch to “run mode”.The product owner with the support of his team will facilitate the integration of the product into a customer context.   • Support sales and tendering team
  • Conduct Gap Analysis Product versus projects
  • Support projects and guide the OCs in the use of the product
The PO is important in the product life management cycle, as a feedback loop between projects and product owner must be ensured for continuous improvement & optimized execution.Accountabilities
  • Deliver the Product as per key Rely strategic, commercial and operational objectives within a defined schedule and budget
  • Accountable in the Product definition
  • Accountable for Performances
  • Accountable for CAPEX, variability & optimization
  • Interface with JCH2 and Licensors (Topsoe)
  • Work with internal and external customers to align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Own the product roadmap
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
  • Accountable for the created product(s), delivering in the product model and communicating the product needs with business partners.
  • Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends.
  • Support Marketing approach with competitive advantages of her/his product technology
  • Support Sales and tendering Teams
  • Support Projects Teams
  • Keep the product updated working closely with Systems Engineers, Project Teams and R&D.
  • Accountable of the Product Knowledge Management & ad-hoc training within her/his Product Line
  • Ensure Technology monitoring & Rex process to elaborate continuous development
  • Guarantee adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001
Role Requirements
  • Acknowledged and successful experiences in engineering and productization in petrochemicals, fertiliser production or the development of EPC projects
