This position requires close cooperation with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider and internal stakeholders to guarantee streamlined and efficient service delivery. The goal is to ensure adherence to best practices, strengthen internal control, and continually improve operational processes.What you will doOversee Outsourced Shared Services:
  • You will manage a BPO team of 200 associates providing finance and accounting services across 50 countries for 80 Puratos legal entities.
  • You serve as the main point of contact for the BPO provider, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • You monitor BPO performance daily, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • You conduct regular meetings and performance reviews, addressing issues, providing feedback, and driving continuous improvement.
  • You develop and implement strategies to streamline shared service processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
Drive Process Standardization and Improvement:
  • You lead process change in Puratos subsidiaries within GSS to standardize processes and systems.
  • You influence and convince stakeholders at all levels in Puratos subsidiaries.
  • You lead an average of 30 medium projects per month for 80 Puratos legal entities.
  • You oversee the development and implementation of standardized policies, procedures, and best practices for Finance processes.
  • You identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation, leveraging technology for process improvement.
Effective Stakeholder Management:
  • You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Country and Regional Executive management teams, Group Procurement, Group Finance, Group Treasury & Collection, and other relevant departments.
  • You act as a liaison between the shared service center and internal stakeholders, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring alignment for customer satisfaction.
  • You manage relationships with key stakeholders, gathering feedback, insights, and influencing them for process improvements.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • You establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the shared service center's performance.
  • You prepare regular reports on performance metrics, SLAs, and KPIs, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • You present performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed actions.
What we expect from you
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and adept at influencing and persuading.
  • You have hands-on experience with process excellence and standardization projects in Finance, with a preference for certifications such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • You have a deep knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Process standardization methodologies and tools is your habitat, with a keen interest in technology and the transformative potential of digitalization.
  • Change management motivates you and you can apply a hands-on experience, with a background in project management.
  • You have a Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, or possesses a Bachelor's degree with equivalent relevant experience.
  • Your shared service expertise is an added value.
  • Language proficiency in English is essential, while additional languages like Spanish, French, etc., are valuable additions.
