- Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely generation and delivery of invoices to customers
- Manage the collections process, monitoring and analyzing accounts receivable aging, following up on overdue payments, and implementing collection strategies to minimize bad debt
- Ensure accurate and timely cash application, reconciling customer payments, resolving discrepancies, and overseeing the allocation of cash to outstanding invoices in collaboration with the General Ledger accountants
- Monitor and manage credit risk by conducting credit analysis, assessing customer creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and implementing credit control measures with the support of the Credit & Collections team
- Prepare and analyze AR & Credit reporting, providing regular updates to senior management on key performance indicators, process improvements, and areas of concern
- Optimize the Order-to-cash cycle, resolve order-related issues, and ultimately improve customer satisfaction
- Bachelor in Finance or Accounting (an MBA is an asset)
- Proven experience in an AR Manager / Credit Team Manager position
- Fluent in English with an excellent level of French and/or Dutch
- Strong knowledge of order management, AR accounting, credit analysis, cash management and collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with customers
- Exceptional analytical abilities, and strong interest in improving and automating accounting processes
