You will lead a team of talented employees and ensure that our guests receive a warm welcome.What will I be doing?As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the Front Office Team which is the main connection between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments. A Front Office Manager is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:ü You are the point of contact within the hotel. You know your way around like no one else.ü You make sure every guest has an extraordinary experience. You listen to their needs, you solve problems and you also ensure a flawless check-in and check-out experience.ü You inspire and motivate the front office team to offer consistent and top-notch service. You manage daily operations and ensure a positive work environment.ü You identify your team members' strengths and encourage their growth through training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills.ü You manage administrative tasks including tracking reservations, preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.ü You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues to ensure a flawless guest experience.ü You will be responsible for safety & security in the hotel, think first aid, fire protection, access controls etc.ü You will work in close contact with the Prevention Advisor and the General Manager of the hotel.Please make sure you have a working permit to be able to work in Belgium before applying.What are we looking for?Front Office Managers serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:ü Preferably you have completed an education in hotel management or already have sufficient experience at a hotel reception.ü You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Any other language that you speak is a plus!ü You have a friendly and hospitable attitude with an eye for detail.ü You are an enthusiastic team player with a heart for guest satisfaction and flair for sales.ü You are willing to work alternating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.ü You have strong administrative skills and are fluent in reservation systems and Microsoft office.It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Familiar with Property Management Systems
  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
