UK/Netherlands/Brussels/France - HybridWe are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client's Identity & Access Management (IAM) programme within the wider Cyber Security function. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology, shaping secure access solutions that are critical to the organisation's operations and regulatory compliance.As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving IAM initiatives by gathering requirements, defining scope, analysing business processes, and ensuring that solutions meet both technical and business needs. You will act as the link between stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership, ensuring clarity, alignment, and successful delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Partner with project leads and stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and constraints for IAM initiatives.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements (functional and non-functional), translating them into clear specifications.
- Define acceptance criteria to ensure solutions can be validated effectively through testing.
- Analyse current and target operating models, identifying gaps, changes, and migration approaches.
- Document business processes using BPMN and support solution integration or migration strategies.
- Collaborate with change management to drive adoption of new processes and systems.
- Facilitate communication between business users, IT teams, and other contributors throughout the project lifecycle.
- At least 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in cyber security or Identity & Access Management.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts: access provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access control, JML (joiner/mover/leaver), ServiceNow integrations, and standards such as SAML and OAuth.
- Experience onboarding applications into IAM tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems, challenge data, and propose actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels, from technical teams to senior stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in team settings.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in dynamic delivery environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Solid knowledge of data quality, governance principles, and statistical modelling techniques.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Knowledge of IAM-related regulations and standards.
- Exposure to Mainframe and RACF environments.
- Professional certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA).
- Experience with business process modelling tools (e.g., Adonis, Visio).
