From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.Job DescriptionThe Real Estate Projects Engineering Manager will be based in Brussels.In collaboration with the Head of Real Estate as Line Manager, the Real Estate Projects Engineering Manager will collaborate with the Eurofins leaders on their Real Estate and construction projects, to ensure compliance with Eurofins’ standard project rules, milestones, use of templates, and lead times. More specifically, Real Estate Projects Engineering Manager will:
  • Support project management of new buildings and/or leasehold improvements of existing buildings worldwide, including:
  • Governance: Ensure projects progress through the pre-defined milestones
  • Process: Assist internal project managers and managing directors in completing every process step swiftly and accurately, from project initiation to project completion
  • Budgeting & Timeline: Monitor deviations from the set budget or timeline
  • Internal approval process
  • Project execution, controlling and administration
  • Liaise with and involve internal stakeholder, e.g. local finance teams, lean and process improvement teams in order to support project management.
  • Monitor real estate project activity throughout the Eurofins network: Ensure information is systematically and accurately reported and produce reports and analyses business and group leaders.
  • Define, update and formalise the recommended Eurofins process for new building construction and leasehold improvements and ensure it is implemented throughout the network of companies; be responsible for maintaining Key Group Documents related to project management processes; provide periodic presentations and reportings (progress, CAPEX, ROI, etc.) to the Head of Real Estate and to the senior executives and major stakeholders in the projects.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration or Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management
  • Curious and detail-oriented
  • Team player with the ability to see the details and the bigger picture
  • Conceptual thinking skills
