What are our internal projects about?
Improving the clinical workflow and the treatment testability, improving reliability, reducing development time and cost, ensuring compliance to regulations and standards, managing development tools obsolescence, etc.Challenges we trust you withAs an R&D Project Manager, you create the value on our R&D projects and help the Engineering department to deliver on our commitments. You build a project plan from scratch by assembling a team of experts to propose the best technical solution.
- Lead and coordinate project teams: R&D resources, quality department and internal stakeholders (operations, manufacturing and supply chain)
- Manage risks (technical, feasibility, financial, resources, safety...)
- Be the main internal/external contact point for the project execution; seek customer satisfaction
- Report to the Program Managers and internal stakeholders, and propose action plans for decision making. Follow-up KPI's
- Ensure the adequate follow-up of development processes, according to quality standards imposed in the medical devices industry
- Organize the project closure
- A master degree in engineering or an equivalent experience
- Proven project management experience in a strongly regulated tech industry (medical devices, pharma, nuclear, airspace)
- A training record in project management (PMP is an asset)
- Excellent use of a project management tools (such as MS Project / Jira / etc.), knowledge of SAP as an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written (French is a plus)
- Proven ability to lead software development projects is an asset
- Experience in accelerator physics, radiation therapy clinical workflows, knowledge of Treatment Planning System(s) and Oncology Information System(s)as an asset.
