We are supporting a leading automotive technology company advancing the testing of hybrid, electric, and conventional powertrains. With R&D facilities and innovative test rigs, the company focuses on high-quality, efficient, and safe validation processes for next-generation mobility solutions.About the roleAs a Test rig engineer automotive, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate execution of component and system tests on powertrains. You will manage test setups, verify rig functionality, and contribute to continuous improvements, optimizing both efficiency and quality of testing. This is a hands-on role where you take ownership of test rigs and collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure reliable operations.Key responsibilitiesOperate and maintain test rigs for endurance testing of conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains (test cycles up to 6-8 weeks, simulating full transmission life cycles).Verify complete test setups independently and coordinate with technicians when needed.Develop and improve test rig hardware and software, including Python, CANape, and C programming for automation scripting.Actively identify opportunities for efficiency and safety improvements; take initiatives rather than waiting for instructions.Manage multiple tests simultaneously, keeping close attention to sensors, test equipment, thermodynamics, and control theory.Collaborate with R&D teams and validation engineers to optimize processes and standardize documentation.Contribute to IMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing and high-voltage applications - highly desirable skills.What we're looking forAn engineering degree with interest in mechatronic systems.Programming experience and familiarity with control theory, structural dynamics, and high-voltage applications.Knowledge of automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, and electromechanics is a plus.A proactive, structured, and innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.Nice to have: Experience with IMC testing (Electromagnetic Compatibility) - high-voltage applications are a big plus.Why join us?At VeroTech, we empower engineers to grow, innovate, and lead.
