Overview of the role
Our client is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join their dynamic team at a
store in Leuven. The ideal candidate will have prior management experience,
preferably within the fashion industry, although retail experience is not
mandatory. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store
Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store, provide exceptional
customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including staff management,
inventory control, and sales performance.
Lead by example by providing excellent customer service and maintaining
high standards of product presentation.
Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential and achieve
sales targets.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategies for driving
sales and increasing profitability.
Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming
environment for both customers and employees.
Candidate Profile:
Prior management experience, with a passion for fashion and retail.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment, with fluency in
English and Dutch preferred.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
