Ensuring Chart's Success…Howden Maintenance Partners is part of Chart industries and is a growing service company within the group, specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of industrial machines, both electrical and mechanically rotating. Think of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, generators, steam turbines, turbochargers, reciprocating compressors and expanders. This can be done at the customer's site or in one of our branches.As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will provide technical support from mechanical engineering to the Rotating business unit in Zwijndrecht. You are closely involved in overhauls of pumps, gearboxes and screw compressors. You work autonomously, but can always rely on your colleagues within the mechanical engineering team. You carry out these revisions together with supervisors on the shop floor, but above all you maintain an overview, take care of the contact with the customer and inform the rest of the organization about the progress.What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
You follow up inspections and revisions taking into account work scope and deadlines
You measure and record parts that need to be replaced, with or without the support of your colleagues within engineering using the latest measurement techniques
You analyze the information at hand and think about possible root causes that have led to damage
You consult about progress and planning with your colleagues and customers
You order the right parts on time and consult with suppliers about technical matters
You contribute to qualitative reporting and contribute to order and quality
In your engineering role, you think along with you about creative but above all qualitative solutions
Your Education Should Be…
Diploma bachelor of master elektromechanica
You can build on theoretical knowledge but are also eager to learn
Relevant experience with rotating equipment is a plus
Experience with Autocad, Inventor, PTC Creo is a plus
You have experience in managing people
You can work with common measuring devices or are willing to learn this
You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality and are willing to be flexible when necessary, knowing that the bow can be less tense at other times
You can express yourself well in Dutch and English, both in writing and orally. Other languages are of course a plus
You can work with common software software systems (Outlook, Word, Excel)
