
Procurement Officer

- Start date: Quarter 3, 2025.
- Receive purchase requests from project managers and perform administrative procurement tasks, including follow-up until delivery and acceptance
- Support the selection of parts (including EEE) and make recommendations to project managers
- Analyse the need and market (potential suppliers), and support the acquisition and negotiation of prices with suppliers
- Evaluate purchases following incoming inspections and tests
- Host regular meetings with Tier 1 suppliers
- Update accounting on predicted billing dates for significant procurements
- Build and maintain relationships of trust and cooperation with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with national and international laws, export control, and end-user certificates.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electronics, engineering, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Proactive and detail-oriented attitude.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable interacting with suppliers.
- Interest in (and if possible, experience in) aerospace technologies and engineering
- Experience with BENELUX and international suppliers
- Fluent in English and French, with good knowledge of one of the other national languages of Belgium (German/Dutch)
- Driving license B.
- Working within an exceptional sector with Staff located in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands
