Understand bottlenecks and why parts aren’t moving
Identify what steps need to be taken to improve delivery
Assist in supplier procurement prioritising (especially around raw material)
Coordination of priorities with the customer
Following up on actions
Provide real-time status on WIP and provide updated LOB
Describe the ideal skills, experience and qualifications to perform this activity:
Must have a minimum of 3-years previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment
Experience of forgings is advantageous
Hands-on part statusing / expediting experience required, ideally having previously working in a buyer / production management type role
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. English is a must, with French and/or German being advantageous
Ability to prioritise workload, and meet stringent deadlines
