PracticeTechnologies Microsoft Dynamics JobsLocation Hybrid, BelgiumType ContractOur client is looking for an experienced D365 FO Finance Business Analyst to support the rollout and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) across a decentralized European organization with operations in over 15 countries with over 50 entities.As part of a wider digital transformation program, you'll work closely with finance teams, process owners, and implementation partners to align local finance practices with the group's standard model. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you'll gather and analyze requirements, map them to D365FO capabilities, and help ensure solutions are both fit for purpose and scalable.Key Responsibilities
Act as the key link between local finance teams and the ERP project team to gather, document, and validate finance requirements
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications within the D365FO Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, etc.)
Support solution design workshops, ensuring alignment with core model standards and group finance processes
Coordinate with implementation partners and internal IT teams during build, testing (UAT), and deployment phases
Assist with data migration validation, cutover planning, and go-live readiness across different markets
Provide input into training and change management initiatives to ensure smooth user adoption
Support post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives
Help ensure compliance with tax, audit, and internal control requirements across jurisdictions
What You'll Need
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst on ERP implementations, ideally with D365 Finance & Operations or AX
Strong knowledge of core finance processes, including multi-country reporting, consolidation, and compliance
Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into system functionality
Comfortable working in a matrixed, multi-country environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus).
