- Due to the growth and need for EHS presence at the headquarters in Belgium : Warehouse and production department (Chemicals Products), our client is looking for an EHS expert.
- This senior position requires knowledge of process safety in a complex environment with high risk (chemical safety expert).
- In this role, you will be the focal point for best practices in health and safety, escalations, and the daily management of all EHS activities for the site.
- Developing themes in line with the EHS organizational policy in Belgium
- Coordinating the introduction and training process related to Seveso III regulations.
- Supporting with technical expertise for the application of process safety
- Introducing and monitoring EHS processes and documentation for the production and manufacturing departments
- Conducting EHS audits against a developed program
- Supporting and coordinating incident and observational safety investigations using root cause analysis techniques
- Keeping records and documented information related to the EHS function.
- Higher education (preferably), Certificate Prevention Advisor level 2
- Experience: You have several years of experience in prevention in the chemical sector, preferably with a large, global organization
- Knowledge Seveso III site
- Process safety, Atex, Experienced internal auditor (preferably ISO 45001 & ISO 14001)
- Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English
