Learn more atReporting into the Innovative Medicine DELIVER Organization, the Distribution & Transportation Excellence Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across Deliver logistics network. This position is responsible for identifying, leading and deploying initiatives that streamline Logistics operations to eliminate inefficiencies, improve productivity and ensure cost competitiveness and continuous improvement across IM DELIVER Network.The incumbent will use internal performance insights and external industry benchmarks to partner cross-functionally with regional teams and external providers to analyze performance trends, challenge status quo, and co-create sustainable, scalable solutions to guide decision-making processes and implement best practices across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing cost efficiency within D&T operations and achieving sustainable cost competitiveness.Collaborate across global and regional stakeholders to enable scalable solutions on Process Optimization; work closely with regional Deliver teams, Procurement, Finance and 3PLs partners to ensure alignment of value optimization initiatives with broader business priorities, transformation programs and customer expectations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enabling LEAN operations and consistent D&T capabilities roadmap deployment across IM DELIVER network.Enroll Cost-to-Deliver Capabilities & standard Governance for elevating Financials visibility & efficiency opportunities depiction at local/regional levels, including standard evaluation for measuring financial impacts of D&T investments.Develop actionable insights out of thorough benchmarking studies, for identifying performance/cost gaps & opportunities within D&T network. Deliver measurable value through structured problem-solving and project management.Develop a systematic approach for Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) ideation and prioritization, consistently feeding Regional Operations ideation pipeline.Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Transcend, JJT, GTTO, MTO Excellence, SC Excellence, Digital Analytics, Trade controls, Customer Excellence, RDS, Procurement to integrate Deliver Distribution & Transportation Process & Cost optimization initiatives seamlessly into overall business strategies.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferedFocused degree in Supply Chain Mgmt, Distribution and Transportation, Process excellence, Project Management, Business Administration, preferedExperience and Skills:Required:Requires a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in roles within Logistics, Deliver Operations, Distribution & Transportation, Process excellenceStrong understanding of supply chain processes and technologies with emphasis in Distribution and Transportation for pharmaceutical industryStrong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data-driven assessmentsStrong Financial competence for running comprehensive cost analysisExcellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired resultStrong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholdersStrong Project management experience and familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologiesExperience designing, developing, implementing a business process improvementEnglish proficiencyPreferred:Solid understanding of IM Supply Chain and IM Deliver business processes/requirementsOther:APICS certificationDistribution & Transportation certificationGreen Belt certification preferredSix sigma certification preferredThis position is expected on site at the J&J home location 3 days/week.Please note that this role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements.
